Join us for our annual Festa del Tartufo as we celebrate this year’s truffle season with tables featuring the incomparable wines from Bartolo Mascarelllo, Giuseppe Rinaldi, and Teobaldo Cappellano.

We are offering two distinct experiences of wines to choose from. The first flight will focus on the 2006 vintage, a truly epic modern-day vintage that confirms its all-time greatness in the glass. For the second flight, we will be looking into Barolo’s rich past as we pour Baroli from 5 separate decades.

Each of the menu’s five courses have been thoughtfully created by Del Posto’s executive chef, Melissa Rodriguez, to highlight the beauty of these wines. Each of the dishes will be finished with freshly shaved white truffles.

As the region of Barolo grew in size and prestige, one constant remained: three great protectors of tradition. Because of their loyalty to the past, their wines fell out of favor with the modern wine establishment; however, their dedication and persistence paid off in the end. Their honest and thoughtful wines are now some of most sought-after representations in the region. This retrospective tasting will be an unparalleled opportunity to taste some of the most historic wines of the region.

With over a decade since harvest, we are going to look at one of Barolo’s finest vintages in recent memory. 2006 had it all, a perfect balance between subtlety and power, finesse and presence. Many of these wines are just entering their peak, and by focusing on a single vintage, we are able to get a glimpse into the subtle differences in producer and terrior.
