Does Del Posto accept reservations?

Reservations are accepted up to one month in advance to the numerical date (not including group dining). Del Posto accepts reservations for parties of up to 12  guests. For groups larger than 12, please contact our events team at privatedining@delposto.com.

What is the dress code at Del Posto?

We kindly request that gentlemen refrain from wearing hats, shorts, sleeveless and sandals in the dining room. Business casual attire is suggested.

Are children allowed to dine at Del Posto?

We welcome children 6 years and older to dine with us.

Can I dine at the bar at Del Posto?

Yes. We serve the full menu at the bar. We are happy to take bar reservations for lunch; for dinner, bar seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Does Del Posto accept walk-ins?

While we do not reserve tables for walk-ins, we are happy to accommodate walk-ins if we have space in our dining room. During dinner service, we save our bar seats for guests on a first-come, first-served basis.

Where is the nearest parking to Del Posto?

There are two parking options near Del Posto: Icon Parking on 15th Street between 8th and 9th Avenues and Manhattan Parking Garage on 17th Street between 9th and 10th Avenues.  

What days is Del Posto closed?

We are closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and, in rare cases, for private events.

Will I be able to dine at Del Posto if I am a vegan or gluten-free?

Absolutely. We are pleased to offer our Il Menu della Terra, a vegan, gluten-free menu. Additionally, we offer a gluten-free version of every pasta we serve at Del Posto. 

I’m hosting a charity event. Does Del Posto donate food or products to charitable causes?

As part of the Batali & Bastianich Hospitality Group, we focus our charitable contributions on Mario Batali’s foundation which is dedicated to children’s disease research, literacy and hunger relief. Due to the quantity of requests we receive, all of our resources allocated towards charities are put directly towards the Foundation.

Does Del Posto offer gift cards?

Can I check the balance of an existing gift card?

Can I host a large party at Del Posto?

Our main dining room accommodates parties of up to 12 guests and our private dining spaces can accommodate up to 300 guests. To see the complete range of private dining options, please click here or get in touch with our private dining team at privatedining@delposto.com.

Can I bring my own cake?

Our pastry team offers custom cakes which must be pre-ordered at least 48 hours. Click here to download the form and please email it to hospitality@delposto.com when completed. In our main dining room, guests may bring their own cake, however there is $15 per person plating fee. Outside desserts are allowed in our private dining spaces for no additional charge.

Can I bring my own wine and is there a corkage fee?

We do not allow outside wine at Del Posto under any circumstances.

If I am running late for my reservation, will you hold the table?

Tables are released 15 minutes after a reservation time. If you arrive more than 15 minutes after your scheduled reservation, seating is at the discretion of our Maitre D’. Please call the restaurant to inform us if you are running late.

Can I pre-pay for a meal?
